You Can Now Own An Official Replica Of Meghan Markle’s Wedding Dress

The hype around Meghan Markle & Prince Harry‘s wedding was INTENSE. We’d forgotten how much we froth the royals whenever a televised event takes place involving them all wearing hats, frankly.

As with Kate Middleton‘s wedding years ago, one of the biggest questions everyone was asking was “what’s Meghan’s dress going to look like?” and we really weren’t disappointed. There were two, and they were equally as fab as each other.

But today let’s talk about that gorgeous Stella McCartney number Meghan changed into for the reception.

EVERYONE liked this dress. The OG ceremony one was mildly polarising – a few folks muttered that it was too simple for a royal wedding (lies, I loved it), but the Stella dress? Peals of applause.

Now, Stella McCartney’s announced that (!!!) she’ll be making a limited edition replica of that now-iconic dress for punters to buy for themselves.

According to New York Post, the replica will only have a 46 item run (23 in white and 23 in black) and is part of her Made With Love capsule collection. The dress will retail for around $6,200, which is supremely affordable on the wedding gown front.

The catch is you can only score the gown at Stella McCartney’s new London flagship store at 23 Old Bond Street. So unless you’re UK based or have a top notch mate over there who can go grab you one (and likely stand in line given we absolutely reckon this gown’ll sell out in minutes) you’re outta luck.

Not to mention said mate would have to email 23oldbond.store@stellamccartney.com to even get an invite to shop the dress – they’re being kept in an exclusive area and will only be shoppable for a select few.

There’s a slight silver lining – the hype around THAT dress has led to Stella McCartney planning on extending her Made With Love collection, forming it into a full bridal range that will likely arrive in Spring 2019 (our Autumn). So if you’re not planning on getting hitched ’til around then, you might still be able to play Meghan Markle on your wedding day.
