Meet The Radelaide Designer Wrapping Famous Bodies In Couture

We’ve partnered with CommBank to help them showcase everyday people that are making Australia exceptional. Sure, there’s heroes that grace the covers of newspapers for making an overwhelming contribution to our fair nation (thank you, of course), but what about the little guy? CommBank thought it was high-time we start celebrating those who fly somewhat under the radar. To do so, they created the Australian of the Day series. Check out this video of the superstar they unearthed in South Australia before heading over to the website to read more.

Errrrrrybody say hi to Paul Vasileff, the Adelaide-based (and bloody proud of it) designer behind Paolo Sebastian, and CommBank’s Australian of the Day #149.

Entering his studio is like stepping into a different world – one that results in clients exclaiming ‘SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY’
Paul mastered his medium at Milan’s Europeo Istituto di Design and has since which gone on to be featured at London Fashion Week 2010, as well as Sydney’s 2012 Fashion Palette
Paolo Sebastian has dressed the likes of: Nadia Bartel, Jesinta Campbell, Gillian Anderson, Carrie Bickmore, Ada Nicodemou, Michelle Bridges, Camila Banus, Linsey Godfrey, Jennifer Hawkins, Samantha Jade, Giuliana Rancic, Jessica Holtham, Rachael Finch, Hayley Adcock, Sonia Kruger, Catt Sadler, Dannii Minogue, Keltie Knight. With an impressive celeb following, he’s only going to blow up further over the next few years.
Another #killingit moment was when he was asked to make a dress for Khloe Kardashian, which was subsequently stolen by her mother.
Kris Jenner behaving/dressing like her children? NEVER.
