Marnie Skillings’ collection for Spring Summer 2011 is called Lady. Nimble. Shadow. and has the print-heavy, feminine aesthetic characteristic of Skillings’ designs. A mixture of florals with floaty, summery bias cut skirts and dresses, relaxed silhouettes, and lots of textured detail: fabric rosettes, ruffles, ties, pockets, lace panels, and fabric headwear – including Little House On The Prairie style bonnets.
The overall concept of the range is clear: a floral feminine patchwork of warm colours and soft textures.
The lookbook features the gorgeous girls from Priscilla’s with hair by Sophie Roberts for ghd, photography by Mick Bruzesse Artist Group, styling by David Bonney Network and makeup by Noni Smith for M.A.C.
