ManiaMania: ‘The Modern Utopian’ Lookbook (NSFW)

Melanie Kamsler and Tamila Purvis, the designers behind Australian jewelry label ManiaMania, have tapped some pretty impressive muses for their past collections, including Abbey-Lee Kershaw and Bambi Northwood-Blyth. Their fourth collection is no exception with California native Dree Hemingway getting manic and channeling all kinds of cray for The Modern Utopian.

Drawing inspiration from 70s California communes and cults, the romanticism of Western Rock ‘n Roll to Eastern Transcendence to the Maharishi at Woodstock, the Kundalini awakenings at The Hog Farm, the Latin aphorism ‘As above, so below’, and all the way back to Keith Richard’s muse, Anita Pallenburg, The Modern Utopian also sees ManiaMania expand into leather goods with the leather relief embossed Magick bag – a low-slung shoulder satchel with tusk closures.

The actual jewels include brass and silver-plated rings and bangles, quartz crystal and black wooden carved tusks and crystal ball shaped stone.
