The Good People At Lush Just Launched Vegan Foundation Sticks In 40 Shades

Just in case you’re in a club bathroom right now, slightly tipsy, and thinking “Fuck, I need a new foundation” – Lush, makers of incredible bath-bombs and heavenly scented skin lotions, have introduced a line of solid foundations called Slap Sticks. But wait for it, they come in 40 – FORTY – shades, are vegan friendly, cruelty-free, and 45 per cent Indonesian coconut oil.

Translation: tick, tick bloody tick.

Of course, these foundations are not Lush’s first venture into beauty as they also stock eyeliners, mascara, and a handful of face products like their Shimmy Shimmy Shimmer bar for a poppin’ selfie.

If you give their website a suss, you’ll learn the egg-shaped and medium-coverage foundations also come in warm, cool, and neutral undertones to ensure you’ve got the right foundation for your complexion.

To go along with the lush coconut oil, these foundations also consist of a blend of candelilla, sunflower, and Turkish rose waxes as well as argan oil and Peruvian jojoba oil. In other words, GIVVUS NOW. The Slap Sticks are also perfect for simple touch-ups or full-face coverage.

But here’s the slight struggle – Slap Sticks, for now, will only be available online and for one month only. Although, this is probably just to test out the product so I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of the fab product soon.

And because Lush are the (bath) bomb, 10 per cent of the profits from the purchase of the coconut oil used in the products will go directly to a not-for-profit organisation that funds a dentist and literary classes on the island of Nias in Indonesia.

The foundations launch today and you can grab ’em for the cool price of $26.95. They’ll come packaged in recyclable cardboard boxes with the Slap Sticks partially dipped in a black peelable wax so you can easily grip onto the product. This also means as minimal waste as possible.
