After some masthead musical chairs and a short hiatus, Sydney fashion glossy Oyster relaunched both their print and online entities earlier this year by proclaiming that “print is dead” and unveiling a new, more minimal look courtesy of Creative Director Shane Sakkeus.
Now, if reports from the Daily Telegraph are to be believed, the magazine have also commissioned a new shoot with Lara Bingle in L.A.
While reporting on Bingle’s recent jaunt in America the Telegraph offered the following: Wearing skin-tight Gucci pants, a ripped rock’n’roll T-shirt and with noticeably darker ash blonde hair, Bingle yesterday posed for a magazine spread outside a 1950s-style diner at the retro hotel. The photo shoot, in which Bingle was seen smoking a cigarette and looking “dishevelled”, is understood to be for Aussie fashion magazine Oyster.
While no members of the Oyster editorial team could be reached for comment they did post an interesting “pick of the day” on their website today. Check it out below and let us know what you think. At the moment I can’t work out whether it’s a corroboration or denial.
