Kyle Sandilands Blasts Meghan Markle’s Sis For “Using Her” In On-Air Spat

In a scenario which could probably have been predicted, Kyle Sandilands has used an on-air interview with Meghan Markle‘s half-sister – who is planning to publish a tell-all memoir entitled The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister – to put her on blast for her allegedly muck-raking project.

Sam Grant took to the Aussie airwaves earlier this AM to have a chinwag about the book, the title of which teases at Suits star Markle’s likely future engagement to British royal Prince Harry.

Previously, Grant has said “Hollywood has changed [Markle]. I think her ambition is to become a princess,” and that “it was something she dreamed of as a girl when we watched the royals on TV.”

Nevertheless, she maintained that speculation about the book’s contents is way off base, and that it’s actually about her family’s bi-racial upbringing. When questioned on why exactly she chose that title, Grant said her background in marketing moved her to swing for something titillating.

Co-host Kyle O objected, saying “so you’ll admit you’re using your sister’s fame and her name at the moment to sell this book, which isn’t anything to do with her?”

Grant got halfway through her response before Sandilands took over, lambasting the heck out of her for the admittedly dodge move. And then he hung up. As you do.

The host said “don’t use your sister’s name to trick media organisations into pushing your shit book,” which is about as unobjectionable Kyle Sandilands take as you’re ever likely to see.
