Ksubi Unveils Autumn/Winter 2013 Lookbook

Streetwear brotherhood ksubi have released the lookbook for their Autumn/Winter 2013 campaign titled AD/BC, a nod to religion, royalty and all things olde world luxury. Shot in Paris by photog Darren McDonald, the lookbook was styled by Vogue Australia’s Fashion Editor Christine Centenera and stars girl of the moment Montana Cox

AD/BC is rich with relgious iconography and decorative details, think deep purple velvet and gold embroidery. Despite souding like baroque era costuming, these features are combined with leather and denim, creating the streetwear goodness we love the label for.  Central to the collection is the radiating crucifix which takes the form of the ksubi cross, fitting symbolism for the brand’s current period of re-birth after the recent departure of the brand’s last remaining co-founders George Gorrow and Dan Single.
The good news is that these pieces will be available both instore and online for you purchase and subsequently wear on your own body, the bad news is that you’ll have to hold your horses until next month to do so.
