Khloé Kardashian Is Accused Of “Straight Up Stealing” Another Brand’s Designs

If you’re impatiently counting down the hours until the weekends, you’re not alone. In fact, one person who is probably gagging for this week to finish, even more than you, is Khloé Kardashian.

Between the new ~drama~ surrounding her baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, to some truly “insane” Photoshop allegations, this ain’t KoKo’s week.

As if all that wasn’t enough, now the Kardashian is getting called out on Instagram, again, this time by a designer who claims Khloé stole her designs.

Megan Campagnolo, from Rose Hound Apparel, shared a side-by-side picture showing her brand’s ‘Santa is a Woman’ sweater (right) – a riff off their best-selling ‘Satan is a Woman’ top – alongside Khloe’s Good American jumper, which has the exact same slogan emblazoned across the front (left).

We’ve got to admit, that’s one helluva resemblance.

LOLOLOL remember when I ripped off my own sweater to write Santa instead of Satan?” Campagnolo wrote.

“And then @khloekardashian puts it out despite it making zero sense… lol #arttheft #supporttherealartist”

“what’s up @khloekardashian thanks for straight up stealing from @rosehoundapparel” the designer added on Instagram Stories.

Camagnolo then shared a screenshot of Good American’s email automated response to her complaint:

The designer emphasised the line which reads:

“We can say with the utmost integrity that we are not a brand that has ever copied or replicated another designer intentionally, and we never will be.”

The focus on never intentionally copying another artist’s designs sound a little odd IMO. Like, ‘we might have copied heaps of other people, but it’s ok because we didn’t realise’?

Plus, contrary to what the email says about “supporting small businesses, artists, and designers“, this isn’t the first time Good American’s been pulled up for reportedly copying smaller labels.

In 2017, indie designer Destiney Bleu came for Khloé, accusing the Kardashian of copying her sheer rhinestone bodysuits.

KoKo denied the allegations, claiming she’d never heard of the brand or designer, and filed a cease and desist order against Destiney.

The designer, however, offered receipts proving that the Good American team – including Khloé and her personal assistant – had been in touch with the brand since 2016, ordering over $3,000 worth of items.

The Kardashian’s then-stylist, Monica Rose, has also borrowed various colours of the bodysuit in question prior to Good American’s subsequent release.

While the latest incident could be some kind of misunderstanding, with Koko giving some kind of festive nod to Ariana Grande’s song ‘God is a Woman’… we’re not so sure….
