Less than a month after starring in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, resident Angel Josephine Skriver, announces she’s engaged to singer-songwriter Alexander DeLeon (stage name: Bohnes).
The couple just made the good news public during their trip to Finland, with DeLeon getting down on one knee and proposing to Skriver on a frozen lake. Um, is it just us or does this sounds like something out of a goddamn fairytale?
But rather than being some random lake – because that could be kinda weird – the location was the perfect vantage point for watching the Northern Lights (or Aurora Borealis).
Watching the natural phenomena in real life was part of Josephine’s bucket list alongside swimming with Orcas, which the couple also crossed off together earlier on their trip:

Skriver recalls what was going through her head when DeLeon proposed and honestly, it sounds as adorable as it looks:
“He had a bonfire built for me on top of the middle of a frozen lake deep in Scandinavia completed with the full moon shining on our backs and hot cocoa to keep us warm!?!? Like.. is he crazy?!???” the model recalled.
“When he got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever.. I have never been more sure about anything in my life. You are my biggest adventure. My fairytale come true. My soulmate. My best friend. The love of my life. So of course it was 1millionxYES!!! “
CUUUUUTE.
But that’s not all. The ring DeLeon proposed with is a sight for sore eyes, featuring not one, but over 20 DIAMONDS.
Yup, you read that right. 20 + blingers.
DeLeon then showed a close-up shot of the ring on his ‘grid (because he knows that’s what the people want), and holy heck it’s stunning.
The ring features one giant emerald cut diamond flanked by a load of smaller sparklers:
Skriver and DeLeon have been dating since 2013, with a slew of celebrities (including Jasmine Tookes, Sara Sampaio and Hailee Steinfeld) offering their congratulations to the happy couple.
