Jeff Goldblum Will Be A Sexy Mathematician Once Again In ‘Jurassic World 2’

HOLD ONTO YOUR BUTTS, FOLKS.
Jurassic World 2‘ might still be over a year away from roaring into cinemas, but we now know that the film will be getting a rather chaotic blast from Las Cinco Muertes‘ past.
Jeff Goldblum has officially signed on to reprise his role as World’s Sexiest Mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm in the sequel to the 2015 revival flick that dragged in a monstrous US$1.67billion at the box office, making it the fourth highest-grossing film in history.
Goldblum last visited the fabled Five Deaths and the site of InGen‘s disgraced ethical cowboy dinosaur cloning operation back in 1997 for ‘The Lost World,’ which followed on from the OG 1993 hit/most perfect film ‘Jurassic Park‘.
The sequel to the 2015 film again stars Chris Pratt as a weirdly asshole-ish handyman and Bryce Dallas Howard as the world’s fastest woman in heels, but this time around it’s ‘The Impossible‘ director J.A. Bayona handling directing duties, taking over from Colin Trevorrow who now steps into an executive producer role.
We also know that the new film will follow on from the B.D. Wong storyline thread that concluded the previous effort, and that the cast features new names like Justice Smith, Ted Levine, and James Cromwell.
No word just yet on what Goldblum’s involvement with the film will actually entail, but if we wind up with a shot half as good as the glorious Sexy Ian Malcolm pose, then it should be a lock to score every Oscar.
For the time being, ‘Jurassic World 2‘ is scheduled to hit cinemas on June 7th, 2018.
