The friendly folks of the most liveable city in the world have had close to a year to say “Hej!” and “Jag tar 100 vänligen” (“I’ll take 100, please”) to the affordable wares of the rapidly expanding Swedish retail giant H&M, and now, at last, it’ll be Sydney’s turn.
With just a week and a half to go until an army of invisible hands emerge from the ether to plunder the unsuspecting “refreshment” trays, swag bags and canapé platters of Vogue’s Fashion Night Out, H&M, officially entering the New South Wales market October 16th on both George Street in the city and the Macquarie Centre in North Ryde – will be giving Sydneysiders their first taste of what’s to come by erecting a one-night-only Pitt St Mall pop-up store, carrying its trans-seasonal Studio autumn/winter ’14 collection which debuted earlier this year at Paris Fashion Week.
It’s not much but it’s something.

You know what to do.
Vogue’s Fashion Night Out takes place September 4th from 5pm in Sydney’s CBD.
H&M opens over three levels in George Street and in the revamped Macquarie Centre in North Ryde October 16th.
