HELL FUCK NO: Groovin’ The Moo Might Be Violent Soho’s Last Shows For Ages

Bad news everyone: looks like this year’s Groovin’ the Moo festival will be the last shows Violent Soho play for quite some time.

The West Australian reports that guitarist James Tidswell said in an interview with the South Western Times that the band is heading towards an indefinite hiatus.
Referring to the WA leg of the Groovin’ the Moo tour, he said:

“I know it’s going to be big, it will be the best one of the whole tour and it will be so emotional for us because it will be our last time playing indefinitely.

“There is nothing booked after that, no album, we haven’t demoed any songs, we aren’t touring so that’s it – I one hundred per cent guarantee it will be at least a year before we do anything else.”
Don’t get your official Hungry Ghost-branded knickers in a knot just yet though – the band’s not actually breaking up. See:
And Tidswell said as much in his interview:
“We will always be a band and always play, but this is the end of going this hard.”
Fair cop, mates. Can’t rip cones out of gumboots forever.
