Today, I have dressed like a large Victorian doll. Basically I’m in this frilly white vintage dress I originally bought because I thought it was cool and 70s commune vibes, but IRL it’s more like a scary collectible demon doll style. So I’ve decided it can now be an entire trend, and because I’m the resident P.TV Style Editor, I can decide these things, ok? Haunted doll chic. Get amongst it.

How do you do haunted doll chic? Well, it’s not dissimilar to prairie style. We’re talking vintage dresses circa 1900s, ideally, but you can also make weird 80s and 70s nighties work (I am in a nightie, for example). The more frills, lace and ruffles the better. White is preferable to really enhance the “I am spooky and might kill you” mood, but I’ll accept a variety of pastels and in some cases, black – although then we veer into goth territory and away from haunted doll chic, I feel.
It’s the perfect month for this fashion revolution, by the way. It’s October! Spooky month! Halloween! When better to revamp your style and go haunted doll chic, I ask you. Get on board, you have at least one comrade (me).
