Gilt, the US-based clothing site which offers heavily discounted designer wares has just expanded it’s operations to Australia.
The shtick with Gilt, who offer massive sales across menswear, womenswear, kids and home decor is that they release their offers at noon each day. The company says that 50% of stock sells out in the first few hours, which makes online shopping as nerve-wracking as you’d want it to be when you’re doing nothing in the office. Gilt joins ASOS in their quest to take a chunk out of the Australian online shopping market, which is freaking huge. Think of it as Dailydeals, but for fashion.
