Giles Deacon To Replace Lindsay Lohan At Ungaro

British designer Giles Deacon is being tipped as the next creative director for Parisian fashion house Emanuel Ungaro after the S/S 2010 collection, helmed by Lindsay Lohan and designer Estrella Archs, providing one of the most awkward moments of Paris Fashion Week.

WWD have reported that the British designer was spotted having talks with Ungaro owner Asim Abdullah and his management team is Paris on Friday.

Abdullah was the genius who initially appointed Trainwreck Lohan (someone with an aversion to pants and fondness for hideous/slutty clothing choices) as the creative director, but giving the job to someone who is actually a professional designer – not to mention a critically acclaimed one – seems to be a good concept.

Way to go, Asim!
