Makeover week is the best time on Top Model, because there’s always that one girl who gets her long, lustrous locks chopped into a pixie cut then cries hysterically in the bathroom because it’s all too much.
Overnight, Gigi Hadid debuted a drastic new look Instagram, her flowing mane transformed into a short, slick ’90s-inspired cut, but we were the ones crying hysterically in the bathroom, because she looked so goddamn fierce.
The model revealed the new cut along with a series of cheeky scissors emojis, and right on cue, her fans flipped the hell out, crying “NOOO” and “WTF HAPPENED?” and lamenting the loss of her tresses.
Hadid later told her followers “jokes jokes”, but to be honest, we’re still not clear if the whole thing is a temporary transformation or if she really did lop her hair off. We’ll just have to wait for her next post to see.
