There are few celebrities gunning harder for the return of the midriff top than Gigi Hadid. The 23-year-old model is often seen sporting the tummy-bearing style – rain, hail or shine. And like, to be fair, if I was bless’d washboard abs like Gigi, I’d probs do the exact same thing.
Gigi’s love of the midriff runs so deep that even the New York winter isn’t enough to prevent her from wearing her go-to top.

Just recently Gigi was spotted working on a photoshoot wearing slouchy grey trackies, sneakers and an über cropped white bomber jacket, revealing her tum:
Can we take a second to talk about how bloody COLD is must be during this shoot? I mean, look at this guy:
But, dramatic crew outfits aside, on closer inspection of Gigi’s ensemble, it becomes apparent that something is mysteriously missing from the model’s stomach – her belly button.

It wasn’t until Gigi broke into a casual skip that we can start to see some small creases across her stomach, revealing that she’s actually trolling us in a bodysuit that perfectly matches her skin tone.
Well, she certainly fooled me, and I’m not even mad. In fact, I’m happy that Gi’s found a way to make her beloved midriff style winter-approps.
Now, would I actually try this look myself? Probably not. While I would get more wear out of any crop top styles sitting our wardrobe, I would also have to deal with the odd person staring at me as we walk down the street, wondering where my belly button is – and I’m never gonna be in the right mood for that level of tummy attention.
As for the photoshoot, perhaps Gigi’s belly button will just be added in post-production?
