Gemma Ward’s Chic Recluse Baby Naia Debuts Face On Instagram

In a week that has seen famous adults Kristen Bell and Dax Sheppard call for a boycott of tabloids that pay for paparazzi photos of actors’ children, hereditarily chic baby Naia Ward – daughter of ethereal erstwhile supermodel and actor Gemma Ward and model David Letts – has made her [in]voluntary facial debut on model Amy Fin’s Instagram, an event in which you’ve shown considerable interest. Ward and her Hawaiian-based baby are, according to a variety of publications, in town in occasion of Australia Day; a seafood lunch at Cranky Fins Holidae Inn a delicious added bonus.
Following her high-profile retirement from modelling in 2009, Perth-born Ward has pursued a modest though nonetheless impressive career in film, scoring supporting roles in local flick The Black Balloon, Hollywood films The Strangers and Pirates Of The Caribbean IV and, most recently as Isla Fisher’s sister in The Great Gatsby. Last year, Ward’s return to modelling was confirmed when she was signed to IMG. Everyone ~literally~ died.
Naia, who was apparently named for a female spirit that presides over bodies of water in Greek Mythology and who Fin calls the “Little face of our future”, shares with both her mother and all babies huge eyes and a winning ticket in the genetic lottery. Cute.
