Friendlyjordies Will Show No Mercy For Stooges On A National Live Tour

Tired of being confined to mere portal devices like computers or smartphones to get your fix of internet satirist/potentially Australia’s angriest centre-leftie Friendlyjordies? Your days of wanting are no more.

The man born Jordan Shanks announced a little while back that he’d be taking the friendlyjordies wagon out of the garage and onto the road for a national live tour, and today we’ve got ourselves some red-hot dates for you to get fully around.

With an (admittedly exceedingly strange) accompanying tour announcement video that seems to suggest that the new live shows will be less satirical ranting and one-man bag of character work and more Tony Robbins-esque self-help and self-actualisation seminars – though on this too it would not be the first time piss was taken – Shanks revealed he’d be hitting most major Australian centres (sorry Adelaide and Tassie) after a short burst of dates at Sydney’s Giant Dwarf theatre, which are already selling like hotcakes.

The ‘Chin Up, Stooge‘ tour is set to take in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, Newcastle and (of course) Sydney across a string of dates throughout September, October, and November.

Sydney and Canberra tickets are already on sale, with other cities to follow in short order.
