Former SHOP Editor Justine Cullen To Helm Elle Australia

ELLE Australia has just landed itself an editor in chief. Publisher Bauer Media Group (formerly ACP) today revealed that Justine Cullen has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the reprised fashion title set to launch in Australia this September.

Ms Cullen, who is responsible for steering SHOP Til You Drop into the position of highest selling fashion magazine in the country (and who we had tipped as the most likely candidate for the ELLE gig earlier this year, i.e. so smug), says, “All around the world, ELLE is known to be modern, relevant, sexy, smart, spirited and fun – making it, in my mind, a perfect fit for Australian women. I’m incredibly excited to be bringing this phenomenal brand to the Australian market.”

Consumers of fashion media will no doubt be looking forward to it too.

The next step for ELLE will be filling out the rest of the team and considering the recent closure of Grazia, there will be no shortage of highly qualified candidates competing for roles.
