These outlandish, unsubstantiated, and totally false claims fabricated by publicity hungry, opportunistic, disgruntled former employees, have no merit whatsoever. The Apprentice was one of the most successful prime-time television shows of all time and employed hundreds of people over many years, many of whom support Mr. Trump’s candidacy.
The Associated Press have completed a massive investigation into Donald Trump’s popular show from the noughties, The Apprentice. And it turns out – prepare to be absolutely shocked – he was a sexist pig to a number of female competitors. The investigation, which involved interviews with cast, crew, and show insiders, found that Trump was known for rating female contestants by “the size of their breasts” and frequently talking about which ones he’d like to have sex with.
This all comes as Trump’s treatment of women has become a central issue in this year’s presidential campaign, with the Clinton camp sinking easy baskets based on Trump’s past sexism. Trump’s popularity with female voters is extremely low, and when stuff like this keeps being dredged up it’s hard for him to recover with that demographic.
Trump’s deeply weird comments about his own daughter came up too, with eight former crew members recalling that he made lewd comments about a camerawoman, comparing her to Ivanka. During one season, Trump allegedly called for all female contestants to wear shorter dresses and show more cleavage for him.
During one episode, according to a crew member, Trump encouraged male contestants to admit they wanted to have sex with a female contestant. “We were in the boardroom one time figuring out who to blame for the task, and he just stopped in the middle and pointed to someone and said, ‘You’d fuck. her, wouldn’t you? I’d fuck her. C’mon, wouldn’t you?’”
The source continued: “Everyone is trying to make him stop talking, and the woman is shrinking in her seat.”
Trump’s campaign issued a denial of the claims in the AP article:
