A man has been arrested after injuring five people with an axe at a train station in Dusseldorf, Germany late on Thursday night.

Police are investigating whether further attackers were involved, but it currently seems unlikely. In an earlier statement, a police spokesperson erroneously reported that two people were arrested and a third might be on the run. This seems to not be the case.
Video has been obtained of the aftermath:

A spokesperson further clarified that there are no signs that the attack was terror as of now. “We are not using the words ‘rampage’ or ‘terror’,” the spokesman said.
There is believed to be no further risk. The rail station has remained shut down.
