Emmanuelle Alt Confirmed As New Paris Vogue Editor

Just as most publishing industry types had predicted, Vogue Paris fashion director Emmanuelle Alt has been named as the successor to long time Editor-In-Chief Carine Roitfeld following her surprise departure after almost ten years at the helm of the magazine. Alt was the obvious front runner to take up the mantle after having worked alongside Roitfeld for the past decade.

“I wanted to entrust the editorship to someone who can provide continuity while bringing new life,” said Xavier Romatet, president of Conde Nast France. “Emmanuelle knows [Paris Vogue] inside out. I have total confidence in her.”

We couldn’t agree more. Can’t wait to see what she pulls our for her first issue.
