Ellery Lands Exclusive Department Store Deal

The very talented Central St Martins graduate Kym Ellery is the latest designer to be snapped up by Myer to create an exclusive womenswear collection for the department store.

The Myer range will be a completely unique line but one with the same well-structured, understated and sensual aesthetic of ELLERY’s signature brand.

Here’s a look at the Summer 2011 collection that will hit the shelves in August:

Kym told Pedestrian: “Working with Myer this season is a very exciting step for our label. We feel that this relationship is a sign of our brand coming of age and I am so excited to be able to stock the label to a department store where it will easily accessible to our customers.”

Key pieces of the collection include the signature ELLERY jackets in both silk crepe de chine with embellished hand bone motifs and other with crepe and leather contrast panels, hand smocked silk lamp shade silhouette skirts with leather contrast waistbands and leather skirts. There will also be some really relaxed boyfriend tees in a grey japanese organic jersey as well as silk jersey singlets and circle skirts in stark summer whites and deep blacks.
