DreamWorks Animation to visit Australia with Shrek-tacular Exhibition

From Shrek to Madagascar to Shrek to Monsters Vs Aliens to Shrek (#srsly, they hit the jackpot with Shrek), DreamWorks Animation has been toying with our childhood imaginations for the past twenty years, which is why we are super-freakin’ excited about the world-premiere of DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition.

Showcasing their four major film series (Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda) through concept artworks, illustrations, models and new behind-the-scenes interviews, this exhibition is all the things your childhood dreams were based on – and more!

From their first feature Antz, all the way through to next year’s How to Train Your Dragon 2, the exhibition will draw on the studio’s incredible toy-filled archive, digging out never-before-seen original art and models and bringing you new interactive experiences. Interactive experiences?! Will we get to smell Shrek? Or learn kung fu from Po? Perhaps eat an egg from Chicken Run? Oh the suspense!

The exhibition kicks off in Melbourne at The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (AMCI) in April next year.
