Dan Single is going solo for the first time since parting ways with the cult Sydney denim label he helped co-found 13 years ago. The totally Cribs-worthy Ksubi co-founder has announced the launch of his first ever solo collection, DAAN, a youth skewed menswear line inspired by travel, art, music and his imaginary fashion designer alter ego (also named Daan, but probably pronounced Daahhhnnnn) to be stocked exclusively at General Pants Co. from May.

“Since I was teenager all I loved doing was making things, making clothes, making music, making art, making trouble. I left Ksubi early in the year to gain adventure and inspiration and all I could think about was creating clothes,” said the designer.

“I have created an alter ego of the fashion designer I’ve always wanted to be and called myself DAAN, who makes fashion. I am really excited about getting into design again and have found a great retail partner with General Pants Co.; I couldn’t think of anyone better to work with. It’s great to be back.”

A limited pre-release of the range will drop in May followed by a Spring Summer collection launch in July.
