Crocs Make Mad Bank To The Tune Of $1Billion

For anyone over the age of seven Crocs are not an acceptable footwear option. Evidently, the entire bloody world does not necessarily subscribe to this sentiment because the company behind these brightly-coloured foot crates made more than $1 billion over the last year. Billion.

Footwear News reports that Crocs Inc. will, for the first time, cross the $1 billion mark in annual revenue for the year 2011 – such is the consumer-power and increasingly popularity of the ubiquitous rubber flippers.

Based on the Australian Crocs website the average price of a pair is around $45, so… if the internet’s calculations are correct, a one billion dollar year would equate to roughly twenty-two million pairs of Crocs sold.

Crocs. They may be more repulsive than grown men on razor scooters but they’re also a magic multiplier of zeroes. This is a big win for ugly.
