Cop A Gobful Of This Search Tool For Purely Vegan / Vego Aussie Restaurants

Guess what, carnivores?
From today onwards, you can no longer get mad at your vegetarian and/or vegan mates for making dinner plans so dang hard.
VegieFind, Australia‘s first and largest search engine for vegan and vegetarian fare, has just become a reality.
It’s the brainchild of 24-year-old Melburnite Piam Samian who, while working in the advertising hub of St Kilda Rd, found that there were barely any bloody options for his lunch break.
Hangry, he set about creating a comprehensive search tool for vegetarians, so not one more vegan man or woman would waste their lunch breaks hunting down something edible.
But it ain’t any old search engine. Listed establishments need to offer at least four diverse food options on the menu to make the cut. They also give each restaurant a rating on how vege-friendly it is.

You can also plug in real minor details to narrow down the search, like whether the joint uses Almond Breeze or Bonsoy.
They’ve also partnered with Deliveroo for house calls, because sometimes vegetarians can’t be rooted leaving their beds either.

As the cherry atop the gluten-free cake, the website also supports Sustainable Table and Animals Australia, helping raise awareness around sustainable eating. Tick tick tick.
