Artists are generally environmentally conscious and by definition aesthetes. So this bike/artist calendar by New York City’s Swiss Institute totally makes sense.
The calendar features the likes of Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Collier Schorr, Ugo Rondinone, Rita Ackermann, Aurel Schmidt, Ryan McGinley, Pierre Huyghe, David Byrne and Cindy Sherman rolling around NYC on two wheels and certainly beats soft focus cats when it comes to “things we could stare at for twelve months”.
