Colour Your Wardrobe With Desert Designs’ Winter 2014 Lookbook

Desert Designs, relaunched last year as a unisex fashion label spearheaded by creative directors Jedda-Daisy Culley and Caroline Sundt-Wels, first came to existence printing textiles as a creative outlet for world renowned Indigenous artist and former WA prison inmate, Jimmy Pike.

Despite recontextualising their work for apparel and taking on the fashion pack at this year’s New Generation show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, the collective remain as committed as ever to a core brand mission of promoting and nurturing the work of Indigenous Australian artists, this year rendering painterly Indigenous-inspired prints across leggings, jumpsuits, cropped jackets and jumpers. The lookbook for that collection – Winter Desert –  has now been released and Pedestrian is super psyched to be able to premiere it for you guys below.
