Some news has dropped about the recent wedding of Ciara and Seahawks NFL player Russell Wilson that’ll have you saying “oh” – not “oh” as in, “Oh, that’s terrible”, but “oh” as in, “Oh! How delightful!”
The couple – who had been holding off on sensual intercourse until they were united in holy matrimony – decided not to get married in North Carolina in protest of the state’s trans bathroom laws.
According to their wedding planner, North Carolina was their first choice, but they didn’t feel comfortable getting behind the state. The upper Carolina’s regressive trans toilet laws have drawn much criticism, with everybody from Bruce Springsteen to Miley Cyrus condemning them.
Instead, the couple had their wedding in a medieval castle in England which, trans bathrooms aside, seems like a way better choice anyway.
