Iconic US Skincare Brand CeraVe Is Finally Coming To Australia

As someone who is constantly battling eczema and dermatitis and other irritating skin ailments, I am bloody excited, folks. See, in the past I’ve had to use weird websites and/or friends travelling to get my favourite skincare brand, CeraVe – but now the cult US brand is here. In Australia. FINALLY.

CeraVe for the uninitiated is all about gentle skincare – their products are fragrance free, paraben free, allergy-tested and non-comedogenic, meaning they also won’t block pores. The reason people froth the brand so hard? They use skin-identical ceramides in their products to encourage a healthy skin barrier. If your skin barrier is impaired (like mine) it causes all kinds of drama, from eczema to acne.

And the products actually work. Scores of people rate CeraVe highly on review-based sites like MakeUp Alley, and the brand regularly features on Reddit‘s r/skincare thread. Some hero products? The Hydrating Face Cleanser:

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser, $12.99

And theirMoisturising Cream, one eczema-sufferers love for it’s protective and healing properties.

CeraVe Moisturising Cream, $12.99

The range will be available exclusively in Chemist Warehouse, and while it’s not listed online yet – watch this space.
