Punters at The Stonewall Inn in New York City were treated to an incredible drag show this week, where there was a particular queen who beat her face so well she 110% passed as Cate Blanchett herself until…oh wait…no that actually is Cate Blanchett. YES HUNTY YESSSSSSS.
Our beloved darling Cate – who is best known for her work in Lord Of The Rings, The Talented Mr. Ripley, and is down to be in the all-gal reboot Ocean’s Eight, contoured the hell out of her face and lip-synced for her god-damn LIFE to raise $$$ for the Newtown Action Alliance.
The exaggerated facials, the elaborate movements, the fkn red glitter lipstick I am HERE FOR IT.
So I guess if you’ve ever wanted to know what Cate looks like belting out ‘You Don’t Own Me’ while sauntering through a crowd and putting money into her gold-sequinned bra, well now you know.
