Blundstone & MONA Have Released Limited Edition Boots That Surprisingly Don’t Feature 151 Vulvas

If you like me are a huge fan of Tasmania, Australia’s greatest state (fight me if you disagree) then you are gonna bloody froth the most Tasmanian shoe to ever exist: Blundstone’s limited edition MONA boots.

The iconic boot brand (that was born in Hobart in 1870) has collabed with the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) to celebrate the Hobart museum’s 10-year anniversary. Yep, it’s been 10 years of tourists going to look at the “nice art gallery” to get a bit of culture, only to be confronted with a wall of 151 different vulvas. Not to mention the Poo Machine, a machine which literally does big poos.

It’s a milestone birthday for the space, so it seems fitting that they’d hit up 151-year-old boot brand Blundstone to help them celebrate. Once mainly seen on the feet of tradies, Blunnies have broken through to the mainstream in recent years and are probably as hip as MONA, tbh.

In fact the $230 limited edition birthday boots are outrageously cool — jet black leather, similar in style to the brand’s classic #500 style, with MONA’s distinctive “+” logo embroidered on the heel as well as the elastic gusset.

If you need a pair as much as I currently do, then the only place you can pre-order these bad boys is the MONA website right HERE. You better hop to it, because pre-sales end on February 25.
