Ben Cousins Released From Hospital After ‘Lost, Confused’ Highway Incident

Former AFL star Ben Cousins has been released from hospital following an incident where we was found “directing traffic” on the Canning Highway in Perth last night.

Police reportedly chased Cousins into some nearby bushland until they managed to catch him and take him to hospital.

Cousins had been hanging out with a group of window washers before started acting out, trying to jump on a motorcycle and and going onto the road to direct traffic.

Witnesses say he was sweating heavily and pretty much unintelligible, one saying that he was really lost, confused and making no sense at all. Cousins has had a rough history with drugs and mental health issues.

He’s now been released from the Royal Perth Hospital and will not be facing any police charges.
