Kornerd has teamed up with Create Destroy Rebuild‘s designer Matthew Woodward to deliver a fresh, yet stone age take on jewelry for the modern Homosapian.
Axioms In Alchemy is inspired by “simple geometric concepts that evolved from the deconstruction and reinterpretation of a triangle suspended on a flat plane”. What the!? Yeah I know, maths wasn’t my strongest subject either – but these designs definitely get my rocks off.
Apart from the obvious thematic connections, there’s nothing neanderthal about Kornerd‘s offering to the contemporary world of male jewelry. Echoing traditions practiced by alchemists, each piece of jewelry comes in a light brushed raw silver or dark oxidized finish.
Apparently the new range is intended to be unisex, but i’m guessing that it’s simple industrial aesthetic will appeal more to the meat-eating hunter/gatherer type.
