Well folks, the bangers could only keep coming for so long before the absolute juggernaut that is Disclosure burns out and needs a bit of R&R.
The brothers – Guy Lawrence and Howard Lawrence – have been going all guns blazing in the electronic music scene for seven years now, and have decided they’re due for a well-earned break. Maybe live their lives, have a bit of a sleep in, do brunch, you know.
The boys posted a hand-written note (aw!) to social media this morning, announcing that they’ll still be doing a couple of things this year, including the return of WILD LIFE Festival and other things they can’t yet announce (ooooo), and then taking some time off from writing and touring The Hits™.

They’ve been working their arses off since they were in their teens – admittedly, I could barely fend for myself at 18 – and hot damn they deserve a bit of a break.
The break doesn’t look like it’s gunna be a definite split (thank christ), with Disclosure signing off with “we will be back…but until then.”
Yeah well, until then I guess I’ll just be over here listening to ‘Settle‘ on repeat.
