‘Australia’s Next Top Model’ Brittany Goes Full Winter Chic For Debut

Brittany Beattie, winner of season 9 of Australia’s Next Top Model – i.e. the one who drives drove bobcats – has henceforth completed her ‘She’s All That‘ transformation, appearing in her first fashion editorial.
The 8-page shoot – part of her winners’ booty, along with a 12-month modelling contract with IMG – appears in the August issue of ELLE Australia, which hits stands today.
In an accompanying interview, the 20-year-old Melburnian discussed all the ways winning ANTM has changed her life – chiefly that she no longer has to shower 15 times a day.

“I never thought a girl who spends her days working in the dirt would be able to do any of this – never did I think that I would be lucky enough get paid to model clothes that I only dreamed of wearing!”
Speaking of which:

Beattie beat out Queenslander Lucy Markovic to take home the ANTM crown, but there was only 1 point between them on Judgement Day.

ELLE editor-in-chief Justine Cullen has no doubt she was the right choice, having said:

“Both Lucy and Britt were great finalists with very different looks, but for me Britt stood out party because her look is so modern and effortlessly cool… but also because she has a unique story to tell. There’s something incredibly endearing about her that I think the fashion industry will embrace whole-heartedly.”

Given she’s already walked for fashion kingpin Jean Paul Gaultier, having been personally selected to stomp the catwalk for his AW15 show in Paris, we’d say that’s a safe bet.
