Australian Fashion Week Is Incoming & So Is Bella Hadid

Bella Hadid, the younger but equally long-legged sister of Gigi / the +1 of The Weeknd, is coming Down Under as a special guest of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.
Signed to event partner IMG Models, the 19-year-old model – who’s brought fiy-ah to the runways of Chanel, Balmain and Marc Jacobs – will walk exclusively for 3-year-old local brand Misha Collection, opening and closing its Resort show in May.
“Bella Hadid is one of today’s foremost models,” Misha creative director Michelle Aznavorian told WWD. “Bella has an alluring sense of self, she is both charming and confident. Bella is not afraid of making a statement, expressing herself through her thoughtful style choices. She perfectly embodies the Misha Collection woman.”
Here are some of her thoughtful style choices IRL:

Bella joins tastemakers like Miranda Kerr and Kendall Jenner (admit it) as a devotee of the brand, which claims the partnership evolved “organically” after B took a liking to its bodycon dresses and cutout designs.
She’s yet to make an official announcement herself, but Misha have been teasing their VIP guest since yesterday.

A bumper roll-call of 55 designers will show at MBFWA this year, including Christopher Esber, Dion Lee, Ginger & Smart, Manning Cartell, Toni Maticevski, Bianca Spender, Bec & Bridge + more.

All the action takes place between May 15 – 20, and we’ll be taking you BTS so fret not well-heeled folk.
