Australia, ‘The Ugly Xmas Rashie’ Has Your Festive Beachwear Needs Covered

Christmas in Australia does have its perks, like the fact that we get to sit on the beach sinking piss and eating seafood throughout the festive season, but there are certain pleasures we’re forced to forego.
Not least among these is the ugly Christmas sweater, which, thanks to the fact that everybody’s sweating bloody balls on Christmas day, is not a particularly practical garment for this time of year.
With this in mind, the good people at Gold Coast-based swimwear company Kozii have come up with a viable alternative that we here in the southern hemisphere can enjoy without losing our body-weight in sweat: The Ugly Xmas Rashie.
This not-remotely-stylish but very sun-safe garment – it’s rated UPF 50+ – replaces the traditional Christmas reindeer with kangaroos, and is the last word in festive beach-based conversation-starters.
Profits from every sale of the limited-edition rashies go to the Cancer Council Queensland, who say that, with two in three Aussies diagnosed with skin cancer before the age of 70, it’s especially important to cover up over the Christmas season.
This really is a game-changer.
More info about the rashies is available on the Kozii website
