Attention Shoppers: The H&M Australia Website Is Now Live

Ahead of the eagerly awaited opening of Australia’s first H&M flagship store comes the launch of the brand’s Australian-specific online retail destination which is now open for your browsing pleasure.

Right now the website is showcasing what the press release describes as a “sneak peek” into the H&M collections for men, women, kids and home that will be available in Australia upon launch of the store at Melbourne’s GPO in April, so presumably this is only a teaser of the stock en route to our shores from the Swedish high street purveyors. The imminent GPO retail utopia is estimated to cover 5,000 square meters over three levels so sky’s the limit as to how many affordable on-trend goods they can cram into its cavernous confines.

We’re yet to get confirmation on whether the website will double as an online store, but in the meantime head to www.hm.com/au and review your options.

Melbourne will also host the first Australian bricks-and-mortar incarnation of H&M’s upscale sister label COS, to be located at The Strand on Elizabeth Street. Elsewhere in Oz, H&M is reported to have found locations for future flagship joints at George Street in Sydney, Macquarie Centre in North Ryde and the Queen Street Mall in Brisbane – so watch this space…
