Antipodium’s Geoffrey J Finch Lands Job As Topshop Designer

Antipodean designer of fashions and maker of puns Geoffrey J Finch has this week been named as Creative Design Consultant for the hulking British retail chain your niece desperately wants to work at, Topshop. The WA born, London based visionary behind cult womenswear label Antipodium, known for knocking out quirky looks combining East London wit with Australian irreverence, will work under Head of Design Emma Farrow and former British Vogue Fashion Director Kate Phelan in a part-time role effective immediately.

“I am very honoured to have been chosen by Topshop as their new Creative  Design Consultant and thrilled that this will entail working with the enormously talented  Emma Farrow and under the direction of Kate Phelan, one of the  most influential and inspiring women in fashion,” Finch said. “The Topshop brand DNA  has a wonderful synergy with my own label, Antipodium and I cannot wait to  work with the team on providing the Topshop customer internationally with  the very best of what we can deliver.”

In reassuring news for Antipodium fans, Finch will continue his role as Creative Director of Antipodium.
