Anti-Vaxxer Alicia Silverstone Graces SYD Blog Fans With Her Health Wisdom

If you had a pretty normal childhood, you probably know Alicia Silverstone from teen comedy ‘Clueless‘, if you had a fucked terrible nerd childhood like mine, you might know her as Batgirl from the absolutely atrocious ‘Batman & Robin‘.

You might also know her as an anti-vaxxer who turned into a baby nutrition expert after the birth of her son, Bear.
Silverstone, who runs diet and lifestyle blog ‘The Kind Life‘, is visiting our fair shores and put out a call to Aussie fans of the blog to hang out in Sydney and talk veganism and parenthood.
Silverstone’s management sent out an email to a select few followers of her blog, inviting “veg heads” and their kids to kick it with Batgirl herself:
“We are trying to organise a kind life meetup so Alicia can connect in person with you all. We’d like to keep it low key so please refrain from spreading the word, but if you have a vegan friend who you think would be interested in meeting other veg heads or want to bring your kids, that’s totally fine!”
Apparently the affair was quite chill, with little talk of her film work and attendees describing her as “just another mum”.
As she writes in her lengthily-titled book, ‘The Kind Mama: A Simple Guide to Supercharged Fertility, a Radiant Pregnancy, a Sweeter Birth, and a Healthier, More Beautiful Beginning‘, Silverstone believes vaccines and most other forms of medicine to be toxic, claiming that her son Bear has never been properly sick because he has never had a drop of medicine in his life.
Bear went to the Darlinghust meet-up and apparently had a pretty wild time climbing trees and running around, completely unaware that he’s probably a lethal disease vector for something like rubella.
