Angry Sydney Man Crashes Fashion Week With Noise Complaint

Noise complaints: we’ve all had to deal with one at some point, but overnight in Sydney, one angry neighbour took his directly to the source, storming the runway at Kym Ellery‘s show to complain about the godawful racket.

Ellery was taking a bow at the end of her Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week show – held at Carriageworks, in the inner suburb of Eveleigh – when a middle aged man elbowed his way onto the catwalk to confront her.
“You have no respect for the local community, the noise is way too loud, this is a disgrace,” said the man, who waved his finger at the crowd of ne’er-do-wells, before security stepped in and led him away.
The designer spotted the man (who wore jeans and a pullover from the Zero Fucks Given collection) at the end of the catwalk, and swiftly ducked out of his way.
The night also marked the return of Gemma Ward, who took an extended break from the catwalk after the death of close friend Heath Ledger in 2008.
