In a bold conceptual shoot by Dazed And Confused, Andrej Pejic’s famous features complement layers of garments and props rather than become the sole and dominant focus – for once. Photographed by Anthony Mule for the magazine’s April edition, fashion editor Robbie Spencer along with renowned set designer Gary Card have created an artful industrial and futuristic theme for the spread titled ‘Gold Digger;’ with a metallic painted Pejic modeling angular shapes and sculptured layering. The shoot is more like a series of artworks and demonstrates the Aussie model’s versatility – his body control, his presence and his strength – and not the androgyny for which he has become synonymous.
