An Irish Pub In Melbs’ St Kilda Is Changing The Game With ‘Vegan Tuesdays’

Sure, an Irish Pub in Melbourne‘s St Kilda is definitely the place you go when you wanna enjoy the craic – but it isn’t the first thing that springs to mind when you think of vegan fare.

The Snug Public House on Fitzroy Street is aiming to change that as they today introduce ‘Vegan Tuesdays’
Head chef Kerri Anne McConville will be serving up Irish classics from the homeland with, you guessed it, a 100% vegan twist.
wen u hear they got that vegan bangers n mash

“We hope that vegans, non-vegans and vegan curious people will embrace the opportunity to try new flavours, and reduce their carbon footprint, their impact on the animals and their health by participating in our Vegan Tuesdays where the entire menu will be vegan every Tuesday,” said The Snug co-owner Peter Toperosa.

this is genuinely vegan
“We’ll be doing vegan versions of the most loved Irish family favourites like bangers and mash, shepherds pie, hand cut chips with different toppings, and plenty of boozy, sweet desserts like my Guinness chocolate mousse,” said The Snug co-owner Kerri-Anne McConville. “I think the reason everyone enjoys my Irish vegan food is because I don’t replicate what other restaurants make, I make it the way my Mum made it back in county Armagh.

The pub also boasts a whopping 120 beverage options, with three quarters of them being vegan-friendly.
Cheers to that.
