Many stories of scary emotional and physical abuse have emerged from Amber Heard‘s legal team in the last few weeks, regarding her current divorce battle and claims of domestic violence against Johnny Depp.
We’ve heard and/or seen intimidating acts of aggression like smashing wine glasses, chopping his fingertip off and writing threatening accusations of infidelity on a bathroom mirror in blood and paint, throwing items and consequently injuring Heard’s face, and years of fighting and abuse.
However, today, news has emerged that Heard and Depp have settled their divorce out of court, with a reported $7 million divorce settlement.
They released a joint statement regarding the matter:
“Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love.There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm. Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains.”
It also said that Heard would be donating an unspecified amount of the settlement money to charity, and that she wished Johnny all the best for the future.
After filing for divorce and domestic violence claims in May, Heard reportedly filed the paperwork to withdraw her claims on Tuesday with the Los Angeles superior court.
