Buckle Up, ALDI’s Bringing Back That $20 Dupe Of A $690 Day Cream Again

Swipe everything off your bathroom vanity and/or bedside table and make ample room in your skincare routine, because ALDI is bringing back that beauty line with a day cream that’s a solid dupe for a very expenno luxe product.

The Lacura Caviar range is due to hit that sacred Special Buys centre aisle tomorrow, and amongst the six product up for grabs, the Caviar Illumination Day Cream and Caviar Night Cream are the ones that beauty buffs are frothing over.

Each little pot of decadent crem is going for $19.99 each, and is apparently a solid dupe for the La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Cream, which goes for $690per 50ml pot and a huge $1255 for a 100ml pot. That’s literally more than a month’s rent in Melbourne.

Not only is it a dupe for the La Prairie, but some skincare stans actually reckon the ALDI Lacura Caviar creams are BETTER than the high-end goop that’s worth more than anything I’ve ever bought for myself.

So what’s in this magic pot of cream that could maybe, potentially clear my skin and also resolve all of my life’s woes? As the name suggests, there’s caviar. Well, a caviar extraction, to be exact.

That combined with a snow algae (???) extract and everyone’s fave hyaluronic acid helps to fight anti-ageing and should keep your skin nice and protected over the cold, harsh winter months.

The day cream is also SPF15, for extra sun protection – just because it’s winter doesn’t mean your delicate skin is safe from those pesky UV rays.

So time to stock up on a few pots of the precious cheap ALDI goop that is literally $670 cheaper than its fancy-ass counterpart. Just make sure you get enough to last you until the next time the Lacura Caviar range hits that precious special buys aisle. You’re welcome.
