We already knew that Natalia Vodianova was going to be moonlighting as Medusa in Clash of the Titans, but it turns out she’s not the only model to be gracing the silver screen in the Greek mythology blockbuster.
Agyness Deyn plays the role of Aphrodite – the goddess of love, beauty, and sexuality who, according to the myths, was born when Cronus cut off Ouranos’ genitals and threw them into the sea where they turned into the goddess. In many ways Aphrodite is one of the most human of all the Greek gods since we all came from balls in one way or another.
Sam Worthington, who tops the credits, plays Perseus the son of Zeus – whose claim to fame is cutting off Medusa’s head. PS spoiler alert.
